Broth sipper bowls

for owl venice

When Owl Venice approached me about creating a custom vessel for their handcrafted broths, the goal wasn’t simply to make a bowl - it was to rethink the experience of eating from one.

form designed around human behavior

Each bowl was designed with a gentle curve that naturally meets the face, making it comfortable to sip directly from the rim. Finger indentations along the sides create a secure, balanced grip while doubling as built-in rests for chopsticks between bites, should you choose to add extras. Thoughtful details that disappear into the experience, that’s always the goal.

featured in parents magazine

After the bowls found their home at Owl Venice, the project was featured in Parents Magazine. It was a meaningful reminder that the best commissions often begin with a simple conversation—and that thoughtful, functional design has a way of reaching farther than you expect.
