A collection of one-of-a-kindmugs inspired by movement, changing conditions and the beauty of variation. Each glaze develops differently in the kiln, creating surfaces that feel layered, atmospheric and impossible to repeat.
Inspired by hours spent gazing at the interior of canyons walls from my car window or on a hike. Mineral greens, weathered browns and soft washed neutrals move across the surface like runoff tracing canyon walls, known as desert varnish.
Desert varnish is formed slowly over time from manganese and iron oxides settling with clay minerals (!!) - just like the surface of this mug layers movement, earth tones, and dramatic streaks of color.
Holds approximately 10 oz. Lined with a durable liner glaze intended for everyday use.

Inspired by shifting skies, changing moods, and the beauty of not staying the same.
The glaze breaks at the base in a shoreline of peach, stone and deep blue, revealing the speckled clay beneath - like sand appearing as the tide changes.
Lined with a durable white glaze, made to hold up through seasons of coffee, tea and whatever else rolls in.
