Inspired by the sunsets I’ve chased across the California coast and desert, the Sunset Collection is an ongoing series inspired by the brief and beautiful moments when the day begins to dissolve — when colors deepen, edges soften, and that feeling of wanting to stay just five more minutes.
Made with warm, speckled clay, each piece captures its own atmosphere through layered surfaces, shifting tones and horizon-like transitions.
Like sunsets themselves, this collection keeps evolving.
The Sunset Collection is inspired by evenings spent chasing the last light across California’s coast and deserts — those fleeting moments when the landscape settles into bands of color that almost feel impossible to describe.
Each mug layers warm speckled clay with soft horizons of glaze, creating a piece that feels familiar, calming, and made to be lived with.
The gently rounded form nestles naturally in your hands, while the crescent handle offers a comfortable grip makes lingering over a favorite drink feel effortless.
Choose from three California landscapes:
Mojave — soft whites and warm sand.
Topanga — blue-green hues meeting sunlit canyons and the Pacific.
Lost Coast — deep black inspired by the dramatic black sand beaches of Northern California.
Each mug is wheel thrown, shaped and glazed by my hands in my California studio. No two are the same and that’s exactly the point.
All glazes are food-safe with a stain resistant interior.

Some pieces are made to stay home. This isn’t one of them.
The Sunset Tumbler was designed to come along for the ride. Its gently curved, handle-free shape slips easily into a beach bag, backpack or cup holder while comfortably holding about 10 ounces — ready for coffee at sunrise, cozy nights around the fire, or a glass of wine as the sunsets.
Every tumbler is wheel thrown, glazed and finished by my hands in my California studio. Because every landscape - and every firing - are a little different, no two are ever exactly alike.
